Procul is a growing startup building SaaS software for assistive device care providers — orthopaedic shoemakers, orthopaedic technicians, and other assistive device suppliers in Dutch healthcare. Our tenants are businesses with dozens of employees — specialists, workshop staff, office and administration — all working from the same platform. Yet every tenant has its own workflows, its own pace, its own way of communicating.
The core challenge: how do you support all those different ways of working with a single platform, without writing separate custom code for every tenant? That calls for smart generic solutions, configurable workflows, and a well-thought-out multi-tenant data model.
As a Full Stack Developer, you are the one making that trade-off every day. You work across the Kotlin/Spring Boot backend and the React/Next.js frontend, contribute to architecture decisions, and keep security and scalability front of mind. The team is small and close-knit — your choices land in production the same day.
• 3–7 years of demonstrable experience as a full stack developer
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin or Java (Spring Boot)
• Experience with TypeScript and React/Next.js — you understand state management, server components and performance
• Security mindset: input validation, least privilege, NEN 7513 — you think about these without being asked
• Experience with AWS: preferably S3, Elastic Beanstalk, SES and/or RDS
• PostgreSQL or a comparable relational database
• Good communication skills in Dutch or English
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of the Dutch healthcare domain (Vecozo, Zorgdomein)
• Experience with external integrations (Exact Online, custom APIs) or healthcare data standards such as FHIR
• Experience designing configurable or workflow-driven systems
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architecture
• Salary €4,000 – €6,500 gross per month depending on experience
